Featuring a bright and open wood interior, this contemporary home is without a doubt amongst the homes with the most enchanting designs in Japan.
This contemporary home was created by Hiroyuki Shinozaki Architect, a Japanese architectural firm and it is called the House H. It was completed in 2012 and it is located in Chiba Prefecture. The contemporary home was created for a young couple and their child and it is situated in Matsudo City, Chiba.
Matsudo City is a city that has a background which has developed as a residential area on the outskirts of Tokyo from the 1960 and this house was planned rebuilding of the house that was built at that time.
In creating this house, the architect first placed a big roof in the site and then arranged eight Y-shaped wooden frames in it. The architect also planned to each space by hanging loft floors and second floors from them.
Constituting a bright and open contemporary home located in Chiba, Japan, this home is where Y-shaped frames which are made of bonded wood run through the entire house and there are six floorboards that are hung from them at different levels.
Depending on the level and the location of the floorboards, the distance from the house’s big roof and the other living space will change and so will the space under the floorboards.
Despite the fact that the house is actually just a space under a big roof, it is divided by Y-shaped frames and floorboards. In this house, the owners can hang a pictures and figures on the Y-shaped frames and mark the height of their child along his growth on them.
In any way, this bright and open contemporary home is quite enchanting and you can find out about how the house looks like by seeing photos of the house shot by Fumihiko Ikemoto.
