If you want to decorate your kid’s room, you must consider using nursery wall decals in your kid’s room. If you consider using such wall decals, however, you must know that there are many things you have to take into consideration before applying the decals.
Wall decals themselves are sometimes called vinyl stickers and they usually consist of three different components. The three components are a vinyl layer, a backing layer, and an application layer.
To make it easier to apply wall decals, you might need to prepare a credit card, a masking tape and a scissor. The first thing that you must do to apply nursery wall decals is make sure that the surface of your bathroom’s wall is clean and dry. You can dry it from dirt by wiping the wall with a slightly damp cloth.
You have to make sure everything is in a good position before removing the backing paper because the adhesive layer below is so sticky.
If you want to apply nursery wall decals, the next thing that you can do after doing the aforementioned things is laying the wall decals out on the wall and taping the corners of the wall decals to the wall using a masking tape. After that, you can apply a tape strip across the stickers to create an anchor point.
If the wall decals are already anchored, you can remove the tape from the corners and peel the application layer carefully from the backing layer. Make sure that the stickers are stuck to the application layer, and you must keep peeling the application layer until you reach the anchor point.
To make things easier, you can use your credit card or driving license to stick the wall decals to the surface of your wall and remove any air bubble if you find any. You have to wait several minutes until the adhesive attaches the decals to the wall and then you can remove the anchor tape.
Wait about 10 minutes before you peel back the clear paper. Once the wall decals are fully adhered to the wall’s surface, you can peel back the nursery wall decals slowly and carefully.
